No. Weight loss medication must not be used during pregnancy. And not while you are breastfeeding either. There is too little research into the safety for your child.
I became pregnant during treatment
Stop the medication. Then contact us straight away. Also call your GP or midwife.
I want to become pregnant
Stop at least two months before you start trying. Let us know. We will note it in your file and discuss how to go about it.
I have just given birth
After giving birth we keep a minimum of six months. You must also no longer be breastfeeding. After that we will look at it with you again.
I am breastfeeding
Then we cannot start now. Contact us once you have stopped breastfeeding.
