Did you forget an injection? It happens more often than you think. It is usually easy to fix. What you do depends on your medication and on how many days have passed.
Wegovy and Ozempic (semaglutide)
Less than 5 days late? Inject as soon as possible. Then continue on your usual injection day.
More than 5 days late? Skip this dose. Inject again on your usual injection day.
Mounjaro (tirzepatide)
Less than 4 days late? Inject as soon as possible. Then continue on your usual injection day.
More than 4 days late? Skip this dose. Inject again on your usual injection day.
⚠️ Never take two injections at once to make up for a missed dose.
Want to change your usual injection day?
You can. Just keep at least 3 days between two injections.
Have you not injected for several weeks?
Get in touch with us before you continue. Your body has lost its tolerance. That is why restarting at a lower dose is often more comfortable. It helps you avoid nausea all over again. Our medical team will look at your situation and decide the right dose together with you.
